Acceptance

By checking ‘I agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use – AAPS Online Learning’, you agree to the terms below. AAPS reserves the right at any time to make changes to the Terms and Conditions of Use that are enforced for the duration of your studies.

Ownership

The content and materials (including, but not limited to, audio, video, photos, text, and other intellectual property) in the pages contained and within the sub directories of www.aaps.ca and https://aaps.brightspace.com (collectively, “the site”) are copyright by AAPS (“the author”), unless otherwise noted. No content from the site may be reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, distributed, publicly displayed or otherwise used without the written permission of the author. Do not modify this information or remove any copyright, trademark and other intellectual or proprietary rights notices.

Duplication or modification of any materials displayed on the site by any means, electronic or otherwise, for commercial purposes are strictly prohibited without express signed permission from the author. Duplication for personal purposes is permitted, provided the author is made aware of said duplication and the copyright information and other proprietary notices are retained.

All materials provided by AAPS, staff and lecturers of AAPS remain the intellectual property of AAPS, who assert their right to worldwide copyright and all related rights unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

Privacy

AAPS does not sell your personal information to others. However, we may contact you with additional information regarding our courses and services.

This site may contain information brought to you by third parties. This site may also provide links to other Internet websites. AAPS assumes no responsibility for information provided by third parties or the content of other websites to which AAPS provides links. AAPS does not review or control the content of any third party’s website. AAPS does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy, content, practice of standards of any third parties’ sources. Any links to other sites are provided as additional resource for online learners. Those Internet websites are governed by their own terms of use.

AAPS has taken reasonable measures to ensure that the information contained within the site are reliable. However, by using the site, you accept the information and services provided herein “as is”. AAPS makes no express or implied warranty regarding the accuracy, content, completeness, reliability, operability, or legality of information contained within the site. AAPS may not, under any circumstances, be held responsible for any damage directly or indirectly related to the use and to any decision arising from your use of the site. Admission:

AAPS reserves the right to refuse admission to any person whom it considers in its absolute discretion to be unsuitable for the training program. AAPS reserves the right to restrict a user’s access to the site, in whole or in part, without prior notice. AAPS shall not be held responsible for any such restriction.

Eligibility

By enrolling into AAPS Online Learning, you must:

  1. Meet the minimum pre-requisite for each course you are registered to;
  2. Legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and;
  3. Over the age of 18 years.

Refunds Policy

By proceeding with any purchase of any certificate or diploma based courses, you accept and acknowledge that you shall have no right to cancel your purchase and no refunds can be issued. For refund policy, contact info@aaps.ca for a copy of the policy.

Price and Payment

After payment has been accepted, you will receive an email from us acknowledging receipt of your registration. Only at this point has a binding contract been formed between you and us.

If the site contains incorrect information or listed at an incorrect price, due to typographical errors or an error in pricing information, AAPS shall not be under any obligation to provide the products or services to you at the incorrect price, even after we have accepted your order.

If the pricing error is obvious to a reasonable person and payment has already been taken for the registration, AAPS shall immediately issue a credit or refund in the amount of the incorrect price. Alternatively, AAPS will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price.

Payment can be made by PayPal, credit, e-transfer or wire transfer online. Payments can be made over the phone or in-person – please contact 416-502-227 for more information.

Learners taking individual online certificate course will not be issued a T2202 Tuition and Enrolment Certificate from AAPS. Please keep your payment records for tax filing purposes.

Course Extension Fee

After a course extension has been requested, you will receive an email from our administrative team acknowledging receipt of your course extension request and will send further details on payment processing. Payment can be made by PayPal, credit, e-transfer or wire transfer online. Payments can be made over the phone or in-person – please contact 416-502-227 for more information.

Once payment has been received, students will be sent a confirmation email outlining the details of their course extension. Course extensions last for a total of two weeks (14 days). If students have not completed the course by the extension deadline, a new course extension request will be required.

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions cannot be varied without the written agreement of the author.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of The Canadian Copyright Acts, including those set forth by The Canadian Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Agency (Canipire).
