Sharing these success stories makes us proud to know we have be able to help change lives.
I just want to update you regarding my co-op experience here at Lear Co-packaging Ltd/EliteMed, so far it’s been great and I have even bigger news, wait for it…
Our General Manager worked with me on reviewing, updating, revising and formatting all of the company SOPs, we also developed a new Quality Manual. I am also very involved in operational running’s of the business from receipt to shipping and other QA related activities.
Just yesterday, she offered me a QA/QC management role (full time) and I accepted. I will be working (GMP) with NHPs, vitamins, and medical devices. I really like the flexibility that comes with the job and the family atmosphere that goes along with it. I am also in the process of renewing and amending the company’s DEL (distribution and importation is in the pipeline) as well as the site licence and medical device applications. This new role for me really complements the QC/QA Diploma I achieved at AAPS.
I really appreciate all the knowledge and experience that I learned from all you guys. AAPS’s Regulatory GMP courses are really helping me right now (with all the Health Canada applications which I’m tasked to do). AAPS’s GMP courses and Lab training (lab techniques and soft skills – dealing with difficult people). It is so true what I learned in terms of the interview skills workshop at AAPS too “companies hire people with a good attitude, knowledge often comes next”. I really appreciate everything, at AAPS you have all helped me so much!
One last thing I have to say, I am also glad that I quit the production (survivor) job that I had before and attended AAPS. It is one of the greatest decisions that I made to focus on studying for bigger things and now I have achieved my dream job.
I wish you guys at AAPS all the best, and I know that you will continue to help guys like me who just came here in Canada and prove that they can still do the job that they did back home!
Sincerely,
Gerald Garcia.
