AAPS has created a new one week training program designed to equip students with an understanding of the fundamentals of Dissolution Theory and Dissolution Testing. This program, called Dissolution School, launches on November 16 till November 20, 2015 and has been structured to provide students with real-world, tangible knowledge on a variety of dissolution testing principles and the essential elements of dissolution profiling. “In one short week, you can add this essential pharmaceutical technique to your resume,” says program coordinator and instructor, Jason Chu. “This training program will teach participants how to use dissolution techniques necessary in many entry level positions.”
This past weekend, AAPS celebrated the hard work and achievements of our most recent graduates. Friends, family and faculty gathered to acknowledge the success of AAPS students graduating from programs such as Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Food, Technology, Safety and Quality and Clinical Research. “Every day when I go home, I am inspired by every one of you,” Dean of Scientific Affairs, Laleh Bighash told the group. “You inspire me to be better and to look at life challenges as something I can tackle. Last week, Greg George of Monster.ca visited AAPS to speak on the benefits of using social media while searching for the perfect job. AAPS students joined George as he presented strategies and resources that can assist them in finding better employment opportunities.
