It helped me to see how the Pharmaceutical industry works. I recently got hired at Taro Pharmaceuticals Canada. The skills I learned at AAPS are the skills I needed for my current position as a QC Prep Chemist. I’m very grateful to all the amazing staff at AAPS. Sharing these success stories makes us proud to know we have be able to help change lives. Sharing these success stories makes us proud to know we have be able to help change lives. Dear AAPS, 2017 was the year I entered Toronto as an immigrant from Nepal. Although I came to Canada with my Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy, I didn’t have knowledge of how things work in Canada in the Pharmaceutical industry. I decided to bridge the gap with a Post-graduate diploma here in Toronto. Among number of colleges I reached out to, AAPS came to stand out.. READ MORE »

While recreational cannabis was legalized across Canada in October, the first brick-and-mortar cannabis retail stores in Ontario won’t launch until April 1, 2019. That means if you want to be among the first cannabis retailers in Ontario, you still have time. In 2017, Canadians spent $3 billion on cannabis, more than what we spend on tobacco and about the same as we spend on beer. Clearly, cannabis represents a significant and rare business opportunity for ambitious entrepreneurs. However, cannabis sales are tightly regulated and to get started in this industry you will need to have the required government licences. Here.. READ MORE »

How Consulting Services Can Help You Open a Cannabis Retail Store

Cannabis is now legal in Canada, but don’t make the mistake of thinking that setting up a cannabis retail store is suddenly easy. Because of extremely strict government regulations, Canada is actually among the most difficult jurisdictions in the world to open up a dispensary. If you’re looking to set up a cannabis shop, doing it alone can be a daunting task. But tough regulations shouldn’t stop you from pursuing your dream of breaking into the lucrative cannabis industry. Statistics Canada estimates that in the last three months of 2018 alone, Canadians will spend more than $1 billion on cannabis… READ MORE »
