This certification is highly valuable and widely recognized by the clinical research community.
About SOCRA:
The Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) is a non-profit organization that specializes in providing education, certification and networking opportunities for individuals involved in Clinical Research activities. Through membership, educational programing and their certificate program, they have been able to create a unique community of Clinical Research professionals, foster professional development and promote quality clinical research practices.
About the CCRP Certification:
The CCRP Certification is an internationally accepted standard that recognizes an individual’s knowledge, education and experience as a Clinical Research professional. SOCRA developed the CCRP to evaluate a CRP’s background, familiarity and ability to conduct clinical investigations involving humans in accordance with the International Conference on Harmonisation Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (E6) (ICH/GCP), ICH Clinical Safety Data Management: Definitions and Standards for Expedited Reporting (E2A), the United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and the ethical principles that guide clinical research consistent with the principles of the Nuremberg Code, the Belmont Report and the Declaration of Helsinki.
