I’m extremely happy to let you know that I’ve received my offer letter to join as Project Management Associate at Axiom real-time metrics solutions, On.
AAPS course has been an excellent place which has oriented me appropriately to start my clinical research career in Canada. Dr. John Eissenhoeffer’s classes and discussions made me thorough with the subjects of ethics, and medical writing etc, and his assignments have added on to my online certifications- including plain language certificate and TCPS- 2. I’m sure that every person who has taken his classes will do well in any walk of life, as he puts not just our knowledge, but also logical reasoning and presentation abilities to test.
George Tabulov literally transports us to the Canadian clinical operations field, sans virtual reality gears. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the debates, and understanding the intricacies of Health Canada vs FDA. Time flies by swiftly on Fridays.
Steven Tanner has wonderfully guided us in making our resumes North America friendly and oriented us on interview styles and covering letter preparations. Deborah Gordon gave me the first good news that I am being considered for the co-op position for Clin Ops at Lambda Therapeutic Research, Scarborough. The thought spurred me to start applying for jobs, by boosting my confidence. Both Deborah and Steven are great assets to AAPS students.
Dr. Zsuzsanna Gesztesi is a true mentor, be it in class, research or life. She has let us in on the corporate and Big pharma industry and constantly provides latest updates. She has definitely been my inspiration to aim high and has held my hand through each stage of my job search as well as the interviews. Her passion to help any person comes across, not just in the form of mentoring, but also as a top reference we can provide on our resumes.
Julia, Daniel, Roop, and Rebecca have been so friendly and cooperative.
I would like to thank all of you, (especially you Ms. Bighash, for your support and understanding of students and any problems- I remember the time when I had to exit to Kuwait and re-enter for my PR), and my friends who helped me catch up on any days which I couldn’t make to class. Coming to AAPS to pursue my post-graduate diploma in Clinical research, drug safety and pharmacovigilance has been one of the best career decisions I’ve made. I would definitely refer this place to any new immigrant like me.
Regards,
Remya Pushparajan Subha
