Dear AAPS,

I want to thank you for all the support and mentorship that was constantly provided to me throughout my time studying at AAPS. Throughout my undergraduate studies at UofT, I knew I wanted a career in pharmaceuticals, unfortunately I did not have the industrial knowledge nor skills required to enter the industry, especially as a new graduate. During my undergrad, I attended a networking event hoping to get some guidance from industry professions, and that’s where I met Laleh and Jason whom made my career path a lot clearer. They invited me to tour the main campus. After my tour and a lot of research, I knew that this would be the place to jump start my career.

I enrolled in the QA/QC program and midway through the program I successfully landed a 6-month internship at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Upon wrapping up my internship and completing my program part-time, I got a full-time position with PerkinElmer.

Once again, THANK YOU to the whole AAPS team for all your help! I couldn’t have done it without you!

And to the fresh graduate student reading this: congratulations you just took the first step researching for post-graduate programs, now the next step is to come in to AAPS and talk to admin and instructors!
