The main objective of this course is to offer targeted and fundamental USP<795> training in the field of compounding. To thrive in compounding, specialized skills are essential, and learners will acquire the necessary organizational abilities for creating customized formulations. Moreover, students will acquire extensive knowledge about the roles and responsibilities within a compounding pharmacy, adhering to the laws and regulations established by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP). Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on adherence to regulatory guidelines and best practices in compounding. Students will explore the legal and ethical considerations in compounding, including the role of compounding in personalized medicine and patient care.
