Pharmaceutical Quality Control

Program Overview


This intensive and hands-on diploma program is designed to prepare students for employment in the field of pharmaceutical laboratory. Practical physical and chemical techniques coupled with the state-of-the-art instrumentation are used for analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products. AAPS provides training using the latest instruments and techniques including High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Karl-Fischer Titrator, Dissolution, IR and UV-Vis Spectroscopy.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the Pharmaceutical Quality Control Post-Graduate Diploma Program may work for pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and cannabis companies as well as testing laboratories. Employment of Quality Control Analyst are in demand as each production batch must be tested prior to release. Professionals in the Quality field are in consistent demand in Canada and around the world.

Certifications

Graduates will receive a Post-Graduate Diploma on Pharmaceutical Quality Control. This program is approved as a vocational program under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. The Ontario Career Colleges Branch is part of the Ministry of Colleges and Universities and the Superintendent of Ontario Career Colleges is an appointed position by the Minister of Colleges and Universities.
