AAPS’ Food Handlers Certificate course is recognized by the city of Toronto and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The certificate is recognized province wide. The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is responsible for building a publicly funded health system in Ontario. This includes developing legislation, regulations, standards and policies.
AAPS’ Food Handlers Training Certificate course is recognized & approved by the city of Toronto & the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care. Toronto Public Health has developed partnerships in delivering Food Handler Certification Programs to the Food Handlers that work in the City of Toronto. Toronto Public Health has accredited AAPS to train and certify Food Handlers.
The Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) recognizes AAPS’ Clinical Research, Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance Post-Graduate Diploma Program as valid criteria to qualify for the CCRP Certification. SOCRA is a non-profit organization that specializes in providing education, certification and networking opportunities for individuals involved in Clinical Research activities.
Academy of Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences (AAPS) has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1760 Old Meadow Road, Suite 500, McLean, VA 22102; (703) 506-3275. In obtaining this approval, AAPS has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is recognized internationally as a standard of good practice. As a result of their Authorized Provider accreditation status, AAPS is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard.
Pharmacy (CCCEP) approved training and continuing education in pharmacy provider. CCCEP is a national organization established to accredit continuing pharmacy education programs intended for pharmacy professionals. CCCEP accreditation is recognized by the pharmacy regulatory authorities in all provinces and territories of Canada.
AAPS is registered as a career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 and an active member of Career Colleges Ontario (COO) since 2004. COO is a not-for-profit association that supports post-secondary institutions and educational organization in the province.
AAPS is an approved Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) provider. WSIB is an Ontario government agency that ensures employers contribute to a province-wide insurance fund.
AAPS’ Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition, Health & Sports Science is recognized by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) as a recommended education program. Moving forward, students who have successfully completed the program will meet the educational standards required to become professional members of the NANP, and may apply to sit for the Board Exam in Holistic Nutrition.
